At CCC we are called to share God’s love for us through compassionate service to others. By giving to others, we are able to share God’s love.
Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering. – Exodus 35:5
There are many ways to serve compassionately at CCC:
Outreach Committee
The purpose of the Outreach Committee is to recognize and serve human needs in the community and the world.
The committee shall enlist support from the congregation for the church universal at various denominational and ecumenical levels.
Congregational Care Committee
We can minister to the physical needs of our church body by providing meals, rides, errands and visits.
This is a practical way to put your faith into action while helping members and attendees at times of funerals, births, adoptions and difficult situations (i.e. extended illness, surgery, etc.).
Contact the church office to help, as God leads.
Deacons
CCC Members volunteer each Sunday to serve communion to others at the church.
There are other duties involved, such as collecting tithes and offerings and welcoming the congregation as bulletins are handed out.
Liturgists
Each Sunday, we are blessed by CCC members and friends who lead us in responsive readings, prayers and scripture.
Choir
What a blessing it is to have a choir sing the praises of God each Sunday!
The choir rehearses before the 10:00am service during the months of September through May.
